Despite all our advancements in ecological analysis, we still lack hard data in many areas. For example, we know very little of how birds move. This kind of information is critical for us to understand the natural world around us.

Researchers—and in this case, together with citizen scientists and bird enthusiasts—came together to develop such a repository in God’s Own Country, Kerala, over the last two years.
